- Expected to be priced at Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Will be powered by a 373cc motor
- To be available in four colours
After waiting for what felt like an eternity, Bajaj Auto is finally set to launch its most powerful Pulsar, the NS400, in India today. In our recent report, we have revealed exclusive details about the Bajaj Pulsar NS400, including its price and features.
The Pulsar NS400 will be launched in India at Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it will be the most feature-rich naked streetfighter in the country. The motorcycle will come loaded with features like ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control system, and four ride modes – Sport, Rain, Road, and Off-road. It will also feature full LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster with a separate display for turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Design-wise, the Pulsar NS400’s styling will be an evolution of the Pulsar NS200. While the overall styling is largely similar to the NS200, the bodywork will receive a sporty makeover with a sharper front fascia. The new projector-LED headlamp and the thunder-shaped DRLs add a lot of character to its design. Bajaj will offer the NS400 in four colour options - Metallic Pearl White, Glossy Racing Red, Pewter Grey, and Ebony Black.
Under the bodywork is a Dominar 400-sourced 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is snuggled inside a perimeter frame. The motor will produce 39.5bhp at 8,800rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. Meanwhile, the engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox, along with an assist and slipper clutch. Suspension duties will be carried out by golden-finished upside-down forks up front and a monoshock at the back.
