- Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 new colours launched
- Pricing remains the same as before
- To be available at dealerships from 23 October 2020
Bajaj Auto has added a dose of sportiness to its only fully-faired offering, the Pulsar RS 200. The Chakan-based bike maker has introduced three new colour options for the motorcycle including Burnt Red, Metallic Pearl White and Pewter Grey. Notably, the prices of these new versions remain the same as other paint schemes at Rs 1,52,179 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
While the new red colour gets matte finishing, the white and grey trims are glossy. Both the versions also feature white-coloured alloy wheels and chassis which make the bike more noticeable. Rounding off the cosmetic additions is the carbon fibre texturing on front and rear fenders along with hop stamping pattern on seats.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 continues to be the same in all other areas. It is powered by a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which makes 24.14bhp and 18.7Nm. The motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. It is underpinned by a steel perimeter frame and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. Shock absorption job is handled by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Front and rear disc brakes are assisted by a dual-channel ABS setup.
The new colours of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 will go on sale from 23 October 2020 in India. In terms of displacement and body style, the closest competitors of the motorcycle are the KTM RC 200 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
