- Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 new colours enter Malaysia
- These shades were launched in India in October 2020
Bajaj has recently updated the Pulsar RS 200 with three new colour options in Malaysia. These paint schemes include Pearl Metallic White, Pewter Grey in gloss and Burnt Red with matte finishing. Notably, these three colour schemes have already been available in India since October 2020.
While these new shades add a pinch of freshness to its visuals, it’s worth noting that the motorcycle has remained majorly unchanged mechanically ever since its inception, except for the mandatory BS6-bound changes. It is the sportiest member of the Pulsar family with performance numbers standing at 24.14bhp and 18.7Nm. Powering the bike is a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The design of the Pulsar RS 200 is quite distinctive, bold and busy. A pair of projector headlamps nestle inside the ferocious-looking front fairing that blends with the muscular fuel tank. The tail lamps hanging off its stubby tail are LEDs and so are the turn indicators. The presence of clip-on handlebar and split seat lend it a sporty appeal.
In India, the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is priced at Rs 1.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it competes against the KTM RC 200 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
