- Pulsar RS200 launched at Rs 1.45 lakhs
- Rs 4000 more expensive than the BS4 variant
- Weight has increased by 2kgs
Bajaj Auto has launched the BS6 version of its fully-faired motorcycle, the Pulsar RS200. This variant has been priced at Rs 1.45 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi), making it Rs 4000 more than the BS4 variant.
The company has revealed the price of the BS6 variant on its official website. The Pune-based manufacturer still has the pricing of the BS4 variant making us believe that there’s still a considerable amount of BS4 stocks lying with some of its dealers.
In terms of overall performance, the BS6 Pulsar RS200 is likely to churn out less performance as compared to its BS4 sibling, blame the addition of 2kgs. There are no changes in the power figures. The 200cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
In terms of aesthetic or feature additions, it continues to carry forward the design and styling of its BS4 model with no cosmetic upgrades. The Pulsar RS200 isn’t a high selling model but we can expect the brand to come out with some fancy new paint schemes to entice the Indian market.
