Bajaj’s flagship motorcycle, the Pulsar RS200, has been launched in a brand new demon black paint scheme. Termed as the ‘Fear the Black’ edition, this new colour will be offered alongside the existing red and yellow paint schemes.
Unlike the previous ‘Fear the Black’ Pulsar’, the new Pulsar RS200 gets grey and red body decals to complement the black colour. The engine and brake callipers are painted in gold. Though Bajaj had commenced production and export of this paint scheme to its other global markets a while ago, this move seems to be targeted at attracting buyers during the festive season.
On the mechanical front, the Pulsar RS200 is powered by a 200cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which delivers 24bhp through a six-speed transmission. With a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc brake setup, Bajaj also offers an optional single-channel ABS system.
Though Bajaj has officially revealed the new Pulsar RS200, it hasn’t yet commenced the despatch of the motorcycle to dealerships. Reports suggest that the Pulsar AS150 and Pulsar AS200 are next in line to get an all-black treatment. Stay tuned to BikeWale for more updates.
