The technical specifications of the fuel-injected Pulsar RS200 have been revealed through Bajaj Turkey’s official website. The Pulsar RS200 sold in Turkey will be powered by the same 24.1bhp 199.5cc engine, that is used in its naked sibling – the Pulsar 200NS.
While the Pulsar RS200 sold in India will be powered by a carburetted version of the engine, these specifications hint that the Pulsar RS200’s engine might not be tuned for any extra performance. The Pulsar RS200 sold in India will get the same single-cylinder 199.5cc engine which produces 23bhp and 18Nm of torque.
The Pulsar RS200 is going to be launched in the Indian market on March 26. Bajaj recently released a teaser video of the Pulsar RS200, calling it the ‘Fastest Pulsar yet’. Despite the lack of better power figures, we expect the RS200 to benefit from a higher top speed than the naked Pulsar 200NS, thanks to a more aerodynamic fairing.
