Bajaj Motorcycles unveiled two of their new motorcycles at the 2014 Auto Expo, the CS400 and the SS400. Along with these bikes, we saw the Pulsar 200NS standing next to it but with a new name. The Pune- based manufacturer has rebranded the Pulsar 200NS to make it the Pulsar NS200.
Bajaj says that they decided to rename the bike as the new one sounds much better. But we feel this new naming exercise has been inspired from KTM’s RC series (RC200 and RC390). So from here on, just like the CS400, SS400 and NS200, all the upcoming Pulsars will start with SS (Super sports), CS (Cruiser sports), NS (Naked sports) or if we see an adventure version it will start with AS (Adventure Sports).And honestly, BikeWale team likes the new naming convention of the Pulsars.
