-Sold 3.23 lakh units in March

Bajaj has registered a 20 per cent growth in sales for March 2019.
The Pune-based manufacturer sold 3.23 lakh motorcycles last month as opposed to the 2.69 lakh units sold in March last year. As for the financial year 2018-2019, Bajaj’s sales grew by 26 per cent. It sold 42.36 lakh motorcycles over the course of the year compared to the 33.69 lakhs it sold between 2017 and 2018.
Bajaj recently launched the highly-anticipated, 2019 Dominar 400 at Rs 1.73 lakhs. The bike gets slight cosmetic updates along with an updated engine and inverted forks upfront and costs a premium of just Rs 10,000 over the previous version. Bajaj has also updated the Platina, CT100 and Discover 125 with the mandatory CBS (combined braking system).
Meanwhile, the manufacturer also announced that the Pulsar range sold 1 lakh motorcycles for the first time since the first Pulsar was launched in 2001. The Pulsar range includes seven motorcycles- the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180F, Pulsar NS160, Pulsar 220F, Pulsar NS200 and RS200.
