- Bajaj sells 1.77 lakh motorcycles in India last month
- Exports grow by 1 per cent
- Introduced festive offers and discounts on select models
Bajaj has registered a 35 per cent decline in sales in India for September 2019.
The Pune-based manufacturer sold 1.77 lakh motorcycles in the country last month as compared to the 2.73 lakh units it sold in September 2018. Meanwhile, the company saw marginal growth in the export market. It sold 1.59 lakh motorcycles in September 2019 overseas as against the sale of 1.57 lakh motorcycles it had registered in the same period last year.
However considering the domestic and export market together, Bajaj witnessed a 22 percent dip in sales numbers. The company sold a total of 3.36 lakh motorcycles in September 2019 as compared to 4.30 lakh units in September 2018.
Nevertheless, with the onset of the festive season in India, we expect the sales numbers for Bajaj to increase. Moreover, the company is offering interesting offers on the CT100, Platina and Pulsar models and discounts on the Dominar 400.
