Bajaj has launched the 2018 iteration of the Pulsar RS200. The fully-faired motorcycle is now available in a ‘Racing Red’ colour scheme.
This paint scheme consists of white and red along with the standard black components. The bike also gets a red front wheel and black rear wheel that lends a distinctive look. Along with the new paint, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is available in the blue/white and black/red colour schemes. The bike retains its edgy design language and twin projector headlamps.
Mechanically, the bike remains the same. Its perimeter frame houses a 200cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that produces 24.5bhp and of 18.6Nm of torque. With the addition of the new colour to the Pulsar RS200’s palette, the manufacturer has updated its entire line-up for 2018.
The Pulsar RS200 continues to be priced at Rs 1.23 lakhs for the standard version and Rs 1.35 lakhs for the ABS variant (ex-showroom, Delhi). It goes up against the KTM RC200 and the Yamaha YZF-R15 in the Indian market.
