- Bajaj sold 1.52 lakh units in July
- Exports decreased by 43 per cent

Bajaj Auto has announced an 11 per cent decrease in sales for the domestic market.
The Pune-based manufacturer sold 1.52 lakh motorcycles in India last month as compared to 1.70 lakh units it sold in July 2019. On the other hand, Bajaj exported 86,082 units in July this year; a decline of 43 per cent as compared to the same period last year. Cumulatively, Bajaj registered a 26 per cent decrease in sales.
Nevertheless, as compared to June 2020, the manufacturer’s domestic sales number has increased by a marginal 5,779 units. In other updates, Bajaj recently hiked the prices of most of its BS6 line-up in India excluding the Dominar 250.
