Bajaj Motorcycles has begun exporting the new Pulsars to the international market. While the full-fledged export will start by the end of this month, Bajaj has already exported few Pulsar AS150 and the AS200 to Nepal.
The Pune-based manufacturer is bullish about its export growth in July due to its strong presence in markets like Sri Lanka and Nigeria. While the demand in Columbia has decreased over the last couple of months, it is expecting the demand to rise in future. It is expecting to touch an export sales number of 1.6 lakh units this month, which also includes the KTM sales.
"CT and Platina still continue a good run of 80,000 units per month, Pulsar new models have almost touched 11,600 units and there are heavy back orders there. For domestic three-wheelers we are continuing with 57 per cent very high market share in the passenger segment exports you have already talked, is 16 percent growth. KTM is doing very well. So, it has been a very good month in June. The new Pulsars are very well embedded," said S Ravikumar, president, business development, Bajaj Motorcycles.
