Bajaj Motorcycles has released a teaser image of the facelifted Pulsar NS200. The company took its official Facebook page to release this photo.
Most of the bike has been blacked out, except the headlamp. While there is no change in the headlamp design, Bajaj seems to have equipped the bike with an LED unit. The teaser image sports a new paint scheme and decals which were expected for this updated Pulsar NS200. But the major rumoured addition is the single-channel ABS. The bike also gets body-coloured engine cowl that is bound to increase its sporty appeal.
The Pune-based manufacturer has updated the Pulsar NS200 with a BS-IV compliant engine as well. In terms of the power output, we don’t think there will be any increase and the bike will continue to churn out 23bhp at 9500rpm and maximum torque of 18.3Nm at 8000rpm. Gearbox is six-speed.
Bajaj isn’t ready to talk about the exact launch date but we expect it to happen in the next few days. Once launched, the facelifted Pulsar NS200 will compete with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
