With the launch of the new V15, Bajaj has made it clear that it plans to churn out good looking mass market motorcycles. And for obvious reasons, the company won’t stop there.
Depending on how the Indian consumers react to the V15 bike, the Pune-based manufacturer will plan out its future portfolio. However, we believe the company is already working on a couple of them. Bajaj claims that it never builds a product but builds a platform and each platform has the capability to develop more products. This is a clear indication that a couple of more V-branded motorcycles will eventually be launched in the Indian market.
Bajaj will take the design and styling inspiration of the V15 for its future V line-up. However, it’s not necessary if the same ‘INS Vikrant’ strategy will be adopted by the company. While the company has made sure not to reveal too much about these plans, we believe the next V motorcycle could fall in the growing 125cc segment.
