Bajaj to launch two motorcycles next month

Bajaj Motorcycles is gearing up to launch two new bikes next month. This information was revealed by S Ravikumar, president, business development. 

The top honcho was tight-lipped about it but we’re expecting a new variant of the Avenger to make its way to the market next month. There have been rumours floating in the internet about this new Avenger, but it’s still not been confirmed if the new variant is based on the Avenger 150 or the Avenger 220. The Avenger Street 150 has been doing well for Bajaj since its launch. But the 220 series isn’t getting the right numbers for the company. 

The Pune-based manufacturer wants to end the financial year with 23 per cent market share from the current 19 per cent. So expect the company to bring in a variant in the 150cc segment as there’s volume there. The second bike in question is still not known. While Bajaj is planning another variant of the Dominar, the launch timeline is still not decided. But we won’t be surprised if Bajaj launches a volume-based product in the 110-150cc segment.
