Bajaj will be launching the new Discover 110 and the Discover 125 in India on 10 January. While the Discover 110 is a new addition to the line-up, the new Discover 125 will be a facelift of the existing bike.
While Bajaj has a wide range of commuter bikes for customers with different budgets, this is the first time it is launching a 110cc motorcycle. Previous spy shots have shown us that the Discover 110 will carry over its sibling’s styling along with the graphic scheme. At its heart would be a 110cc version of the single-cylinder DTS-i mill, mated to a four-speed gearbox. The Discover 125, on the other hand, gets new paint schemes and decals. Apart from the two Discover models, Bajaj will also unveil the new MY2018 range with minor updates.
The Platina, a 100cc commuter bike, generates the highest volumes for Bajaj, while the CT100 has also been selling in decent numbers. Clearly, the company’s entry-level offerings have struck a chord with the target audience. We expect the sales numbers to get a further boost with the launch of the Discover 110 and the Discover 125 facelift. The Discover 110 will compete against the Hero Splendor iSmart 110, Honda Dream Neo and the TVS Star City Plus.
