Over the last few months, Bajaj Motorcycles has been a silent player with very few launches. But now it is ready to go full throttle with the launches. The Pune-based manufacturer will launch six motorcycles in the next six months.
The first motorcycle that will be launched is a 100cc motorcycle. While we know that the Platina is due for an upgrade, Bajaj has been tight-lipped about giving more details on this particular model. It said that Platina is targeted towards consumers who look for value-for-money and Discover towards premium executive consumers. The company further mentioned that the new 100cc bike will have its own space, making us believe that this bike will be a part of one of the two brands that Bajaj is creating for its future products.
The launch of this 100cc bike will be followed by the launch of the Pulsar SS200, which had been the much awaited motorcycle launch in 2014. The company postponed the launch of this Pulsar for reasons unknown to us but we can expect the Pune-based manufacturer to price this product competitively. It will also launch the CS400, but we can expect this bike to be the last one in the line. The Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar 180 has been due for a major upgrade, and we are expecting the facelift of both these bikes to hit the market. Based on the NS200 platform, the new Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar 180 are expected to set the sales charts on fire. The company hasn’t mentioned anything about the sixth motorcycle, but there is a high chance that it could be from the Discover brand.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more details on the upcoming Bajaj Motorcycles.
