- Bajaj to open 120 Triumph showrooms
- Will also open in Tier 2 cities
- Speed 400, Scrambler 400X gets 10,000 bookings
Bajaj is planning to expand the Triumph showrooms aggressively this financial year. The company wants to open almost 120 showrooms nationwide by the end of March 2024.
The Pune-based manufacturer launched the Speed 400 with an attractive price tag of Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This price applies to the first 10,000 bookings, post which the price will increase to Rs 2.33 lakh. As a result of such pricing, Bajaj has already managed to get 10,000 bookings within a few days.
To fulfil such great demand, the company will need to expand its Triumph showrooms. Currently, there are only a few Triumph showrooms in the country. These new showrooms will also come up in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, along with the metros. The upcoming Triumph showrooms won’t be as big as the current ones but will have enough space for the brand to accommodate the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X, along with a few bigger Triumph bikes. Indian customers will also have the option to book bigger Triumph bikes like the Tiger, Street Triple and Rocket 3 through these showrooms.
