- Bajaj to open multiple Triumph dealerships
- Will also sell bikes through current Triumph showrooms
- Roadster 400, Scrambler 400 global unveil later this month
Bajaj is in the process of setting up a new Triumph showroom across the country. Some of these showrooms will be opened much before the July 5 launch.
According to our sources, Bajaj will first open showrooms in metro and Tier 1 cities. Later on, the brand will then shift its focus to Tier 2 cities, where there’s good demand for premium motorcycles. The idea is to have its presence felt in most cities as these upcoming Triumph bikes are positioned as entry-level premium brands. The new Triumph Roadster and Scrambler will also be sold through the big Triumph showrooms.
The Pune-based manufacturer has offered Triumph showrooms to dealers who have managed Bajaj and Pro-Biking dealerships for many years. Through this route, Bajaj ensures it will continue to have a great brand experience at the new Triumph showrooms.
The new Triumph Roadster 400 and the Scrambler 400 will debut late this month. The India launch will happen on July 5. However, there’s still no information on whether Bajaj will launch both bikes together or bring the Roadster 400.
