Bajaj to unveil new motorcycle brand on February 1

Bajaj Motorcycles will unveil their new motorcycle brand on February 1, just two days before the 2016 Auto Expo kicks in. For those who don’t know this, Bajaj isn’t present at the upcoming Auto Expo.

Like we mentioned previously, Bajaj’s main focus is this new executive commuter motorcycle brand that will go on sale by March. This new bike will be powered by a new 150cc engine that will churn out close to 14bhp and will be mated to a five-speed gearbox.

In terms of product placement, this new motorcycle brand will fall between the Discover 150F and the Pulsar AS150. Bajaj believes that this new motorcycle will be a game changer and will do to the commuter bike segment what the Pulsar did to the sports bike segment in 2001.

Cosmetically, this new Bajaj bike is expected to be the best looking in the segment. While the Pune-based manufacturer is very discrete about this bike, we managed to see a prototype being tested near Pune a couple of days ago.
