Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 150 Classic and twin disc variants with new graphics. The Classic model gets options of red and silver accents on black colour while the twin disc variant has received more prominent graphical changes on its body panels. The pricing of motorcycles remain the same at Rs 65,446 for Classic and Rs 78,618 for twin disc model (both prices ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic gets red/silver colour on various parts such as the grab rail, underseat cowl, wheels and above the headlamp. The Pulsar badging on fuel tank and 150 badge on rear cowl are also silver/red now. As for the twin disc variant, the graphics on its body panels have gotten sportier which include changes on the tank, tank extensions, underseat and rear cowl, front mudguard and wheels.
The Pulsar 150 is powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, carburetor engine that produces 15bhp at 9,000rpm and 12Nm at 6,500rpm. The unit comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is suspended on telescopic forks on the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by a single disc on the front in all variants while only the twin disc variant gets rear disc brake.
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 series is among the highest selling models for the Chakan-based bikemaker and it goes up against the TVS Apache RTR 160, Honda CB Unicorn 150, Hero Xtreme Sports and Hero Achiever 150.
