Bajaj Motorcycles has given the same treatment to the Pulsar 150 as they did to the Pulsar 220F and 180. The company has introduced three new colour schemes for the Pulsar 150. The bike will now be available in Sapphire Blue, Pearl Metallic White and Cocktail Wine Red.
We have seen the same colours on the other siblings which the manufacturer recently introduced. These changes are only cosmetic ones and there are no amendments to the mechanical bits. The bike remains powered by the single cylinder air-cooled 149cc engine that produces 15bhp of power and 12Nm of torque.
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been selling quite well since its introduction to the Indian bike market dating back to around 10 years ago. However, with the advent of so many other bikes in the 150cc segment, the sales of the Pulsar 150 have been hit and these are some tactics the two-wheeler manufacturer is using to sell its product.
You might think that with the addition of new colours and decals, the company might add to the appeal of the bike and find prospective buyers. But we think that the product has aged well and this might be the last cosmetic tweak the company might be making before bringing in a facelift. We have spotted testing the upcoming Pulsar 150 which sported the Pulsar NS200 look. This speculated Pulsar NS150 might replace the current Pulsar 150 and Bajaj Motorcycles might be preparing to launch the refreshed bike.
