Bajaj has been steadily widening the reach of Dominar 400 across the country. While the sports cruiser was available only in 22 cities at the time of its launch, the network has now been increased to 56 cities.
During its launch, Bajaj had revealed that every dealership had to meet certain criteria to be eligible to sell the Dominar 400. Over the past two months, the company has been aggressively increasing its reach across Tier II cities. While bikes like the KTM 390 Duke and the 200 Duke might be more popular in major cities, a value-for-money proposition like the Dominar 400 is likely to outsell these bikes in Tier II markets.
Bajaj had initially set a target of selling 10,000 units of the Dominar 400 every month, though the company could only sell 3,000 units by the end of January 2017. Now though with the addition of new cities to list, we can expect to see a slight increase in the Dominar 400’s sales numbers.
