Bajaj has announced that its entire lineup is now compliant with BS-IV emission norms.
Bajaj has been slowly upgrading its range to meet the emission norms, which come into force from April 2017. While the Pulsar range was updated last month, the rest of the portfolio has now been updated to meet BS IV. The company has also hiked prices across the range to accommodate the rise in material prices and the cost of upgrading the product lineup to meet the emission norms.
As the Domimar 400 is a new model which was developed taking into account the norms, the motorcycle has remained immune to the price hike. The lucrative introductory pricing has helped the company garner 2,500 bookings for the motorcycle since its launch in December.
