Benelli has unveiled the BJ300GS in China. The bike is built specifically for touring and includes panniers and top box as standard equipment.
The bike also sports a tall-windscreen while the design is similar to the 600cc touring bike which was spied earlier this year. However, it shares most of its mechanical components with the recently unveiled Benelli 302S.
It uses the same 300cc parallel-twin engine that produces 37.5bhp at 11,000rpm and 25.6Nm of torque at 9,750rpm housed in an identical trellis frame. The BJ300GS tips the scale with a kerb weight of 216kg. The name of the bike could change once it reaches international markets.
While we would love to see the touring motorcycle in India, the manufacturer is currently planning to launch the scrambler-styled Leoncino 500 by early next year in the country.
