DSK Benelli has started accepting bookings of the five motorcycles, which are going to be launched in the Indian market on March 19.
DSK Benelli had officially unveiled these motorcycles in their production-ready trim at the India Bike Week 2015, though there is still a week to go for their prices to be revealed. And while the internet is abuzz with the ‘leaked’ price list of the line-up, DSK Benelli has officially quashed these rumours.
Though Benelli had also unveiled the Blackster 250, TNT 250 and the TreK Amazonas 1130 at the IBW, these motorcycles are expected to be launched here in May. For now, the Italian manufacturer will be launching the TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600GT, TNT 899 and the TNT 1130 in India.
These five models are being locally assembled from CKD units imported from China, at DSK Motowheels’ plant in Maharashtra. As CKD models attract lower taxes as compared to CBUs, we expect the Benelli motorcycles to come with very competitive price tags. Stay tuned to BikeWale for more information.
