Benelli has recorded its 500th motorcycle delivery in Bengaluru. Having achieved this milestone within a year of its launch in the country, Benelli commemorated this occasion by organising a short ride within the IT capital of the country.
Benelli marked its entry in the Indian market in March last year, in association with DSK Motowheels. Since the launch of its exclusive DSK Benelli showrooms, the company has been receiving an overwhelming response. The Bengaluru showroom in itself has so far received over 750 bookings, of which 500 motorcycles have been delivered to customers.
Speaking about this achievement, Mr Shirish Kulkarni, chairman, DSK Motowheels said, “DSK Benelli has received a truly phenomenal response in Bengaluru. There is a vibrant superbiking culture in the city, and its people have embraced DSK Benelli superbikes with great enthusiasm. We are delighted at recording delivery of 500 superbikes within a year.”
Benelli currently has a six motorcycle line-up in the country, stretching from the quarter-litre single-cylinder TNT 25 to the full-blown litre-class streetfighter, the TNT R . All the bikes are sold in India via the completely-knocked-down (CKD) route, with the components being imported from China and Italy.
