- Benelli Imperiale 400 BS6 low EMI scheme announced
- Available with EMI of Rs 4,999 with up to 85 per cent funding
- Priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
Ahead of the upcoming festive season, Benelli has announced a low EMI scheme for its modern-classic offering, the Imperiale 400 BS6, in India. Under this offer, the motorcycle can be purchased with a monthly installment plan of Rs 4,999 while financing up to 85 per cent of its price. Moreover, the minimum booking amount for the bike is as low as Rs 6,000.
As of now, the Imperiale 400 is the only BS6-compliant model by Benelli which was introduced in July 2020. It has been priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) which makes it Rs 20,000 more expensive than the BS4 model. Notably, the only change it has received is in the engine which emits cleaner gases now. Despite the more constrained emissions, it continues to produce 20.7bhp and 29Nm from its 374cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine.
The design of the Imperiale is purely vintage with a round headlamp, a peanut-shaped fuel tank, a peashooter exhaust, spoke wheels and chrome treatment on several body panels. Matching its classic genre, the features are also pretty basic with conventional lightning and dual analogue clocks with a tiny LCD dash. Shock absorption is handled by telescopic forks and dual springs while the front and rear discs are assisted by a dual-channel ABS setup.
The Benelli Imperiale 400 BS6 is available in three paint schemes – red, silver and black. It competes against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Jawa Standard.
