Benelli India recently confirmed through a press statement that it will soon update its portfolio with seven BS6-compliant motorcycles. The list comprises of:

All the models listed above were available in BS4 form. While the company has confirmed that it will introduce the aforementioned models in BS6-compliant form, it has remained tight-lipped about the launch timeline and other details. The updated models will carry a price premium over their respective BS4 versions.
For reference, the Imperiale 400, which is the company’s only BS6-compliant motorcycle, received a price increase of Rs 20,000 over the BS4 model. The retro-style product from Benelli is currently available at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for the Imperiale 400 BS6 are open, and the company has already commenced the deliveries of the motorcycle.
The BS6-compliant, 374cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor on the Imperiale 400 produces 20.7bhp of power and 29Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
