- Increased duration of service intervals to 6000km or 6 months.
- Around 34 per cent reduction in service cost.
- Focusing on 25-30 per cent localised components.
Italian manufacturer, Benelli which recently announced a business venture with Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), has increased the service interval duration for its existing customers.
The interval which was earlier set at 4000km or 4 months will now be due at 6000km or 6 months. With the reduction in number of workshop visits per year, the cost of service has also decreased, by what Benelli claims to be around 34 per cent. Benelli currently has the TNT300, 302R and TNT600i in India. However, this offer is also available on the TNT25, TNT600 GT and TNT 899 which have been temporarily discontinued.
The manufacturer also plans on localising 20-30 per cent of components to price its products competitively and make them more accessible. We expect Benelli to launch the TRK 502 and Leoncino by the end of this year, each available in two variants. While the TRK 502 is expected to be priced around Rs 5.5 lakhs to Rs 6.5 lakhs, the Leoncino is likely to retail between Rs 5.5 lakhs to Rs 6 lakhs.
