-Available in four paint schemes
-Deliveries to commence by end of this month
Benelli recently launched the Leoncino 250 in India with a sticker price of Rs 2.5 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). The manufacturer is offering the motorcycle in four colour schemes in the country.
It is available in a red colour which sports white graphics on the lower side of the fuel tank and on the side panel. There also is a white paint scheme with yellow highlights. The Leoncino 250 is also available in a grey colour with yellow graphics. Furthermore, it can also be had in a brownish shade which also comes with yellow graphics on the tank and side panels.
The motorcycle sports a scrambler-style, minimalistic bodywork inspired by its bigger sibling, the Leoncino 500. It gets an oval, full-LED headlamp, tear-drop shaped fuel tank and cropped rear section to complete its visual appeal. And underneath the steel trellis frame is a 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 25bhp and 21Nm of torque.
While bookings have already commenced, the manufacturer claims to begin deliveries of the Leoncino 250 by the end of this month. The motorcycle may not have a direct competitor in the country but it competes against the Honda CB300R, KTM 390 Duke and the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X in terms of pricing.
