- Benelli Leoncino 500 BS6 available from Rs 4,69,900 onwards
- Available in two colour options
- Leoncino Red carries a Rs 10,000 premium over Steel Grey paint
Benelli India has revised the prices of the BS6-compliant Leoncino 500. The middleweight street scrambler is now available from Rs 4,69,900 onwards as against Rs 4,59,000 previously. The motorcycle is available in two colour choices – Steel Grey and Leoncino Red. The Steel Gray colour is available for Rs 4,69,900 while the Leoncino Red is priced at Rs 4,79,900.
The BS6 model, which was launched in February 2021, carries forward the design from the BS4 version. Thus, the motorcycle continues to feature a round headlight, dual-tone front fender with Lion of Pesaro motif, a rounded fuel tank, single-piece seat with tuck and roll design, and a rear fender mounted number plate. The feature list on the motorcycle comprises full-LED lighting, a twin-pod LCD instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS.
Despite complying with the newer, more stringent emission norms, the Leoncino 500 continues to deliver similar power and torque output numbers as the BS4 model. Linked to a six-speed transmission, the 500cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine produces 46.8bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm and 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The motorcycle is backed by a three-year/unlimited kilometres warranty.
