Benelli launched the Leoncino 500 in India recently and priced the bike at Rs 4.79 lakhs (ex-showroom). We bring to you details of the motorcycle through this image gallery.
The Benelli Leoncino 500’s styling has been inspired by old-school scrambler motorcycles.
However, Benelli has equipped the motorcycle’s round headlamp with LED DRLs that are flanked by LED turn indicators.
It also gets a uniquely-designed LED tail lamp housed in the short rear section. The bike also has a tyre hugger that features a number-plate holder.
The Leoncino comes equipped with a round LCD instrument cluster that displays speedometer, tachometer, along with other information like fuel level and clock.
Powering the motorcycle is a 500cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor which produces 47bhp and 45Nm. The motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The Benelli Leoncino 500 rides on 17-inch wheels shod with Pirelli tyres. These are suspended from beefy 50mm forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear.
Braking is taken care of by 320mm twin discs at the front and a 260mm disc for the rear along with a dual-channel ABS.
Benelli is offering the bike in two colour schemes- Leoncino Red and Steel Gray that complement the blacked-out components well.
