Benelli has launched the Leoncino 500 in the USA at USD 6,199 which translates to around Rs 4.54 lakh.
The motorcycle is similar to the model that was sold in India and comes powered by a 499cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine borrowed from the TRK 502. This motor generates 47bhp of power at 8500rpm and 45Nm of torque at 4500rpm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
As for features, the retro scrambler-styled Leoncino 500 comes with full-LED lighting, LCD instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS. It rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in tyres sourced from Pirelli. Suspension duties are done by 50mm forks and a monoshock at the rear whereas 320mm discs at the front and a single 260mm disc handle braking.
The Leoncino 500 isn’t on sale in India currently as the model wasn’t BS6 compliant. However, we can expect the updated version to make its way to the country in early 2021.
