Benelli Bengaluru recently celebrated the city’s 100th delivery with a short ride from the Bengaluru showroom in Richmond Circle to Kolar. The Italian manufacturer has now announced a similar success story for its showroom in Pune, which delivered its 100th motorcycle in the last week.
While it took Benelli just three months to clock the 100 deliveries in Bengaluru, the company took four months to clock similar numbers in Pune. Mr Shirish Kulkarni, the chairman of DSK Motowheels himself handed over the keys to the owner of the 100th motorcycle at an event organised at the dealership.
Speaking about this milestone, Mr Kulkarni said, “Pune, in recent times, has emerged as a city with a particular fondness for superbikes. Since the launch of our exclusive showroom for DSK Benelli superbikes, we have received an overwhelming positive response. The remarkable feat of achieving 100 superbike sales in Pune, not only highlights the brand value and customer patronage of DSK Benelli, but also demonstrates the growing market for superbikes in India.”
DSK Motowheels currently sells five Benelli motorcycles in India – the TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600GT, TNT 899 and the TNT 1130. All the bikes are locally assembled at the company’s factory in Wai, Maharashtra.
