At first glance, this tiny little motorcycle might create a negative impression, but hold on till you spend more time observing it. The Benelli T 135 is a compact motorcycle that DSK Motowheels is planning to launch in India. Targeted at youngsters, the T 135 is a very interesting bike. Check out the picture gallery below.
Design wise, the T135 is quite quirky. The tank design resembles the TNT 25 but is small in proportion.
The fascia looks pretty busy, thanks to the presence of four projector lamps inside the headlamp assembly.
The twin exhaust bikes is something we see on MV Agustas but the T 135 carries it well too. It’s the same story with the tail section – neat and clean.
The Benelli T 135 is powered by a 135cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which produces 12.6bhp at 9000rpm and peak torque of 10.8Nm at 7000rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The T 135 rides on 12-inch wheels which sports 120/70 and 130/70 tyres at the front and rear respectively.
The suspension duties are taken care of by upside-down 41mm fork at the front and monoshock with spring pre-load adjustment at the rear. At the time of launch, the Benelli T 135 will be sold only in one colour. The one you see here.
