Benelli teases a new motorcycle; to debut at 2015 EICMA

Just 10 days more to go for the 2015 EICMA and things are already getting pretty exciting. After Ducati released a series of teaser videos, Benelli is up next.

The Italian company has released a teaser image of a motorcycle with a message “The legend is back”. Thanks to the black themed image, it is difficult to decipher many details. But if you look closely, the bike teased in this picture has spoked wheels and fat knobby tyres hinting at two possibilities – adventure or scrambler.  We are more inclined towards it being a Scrambler because of its compact body size and also the fact that the Scrambler is performing really well for Ducati, Benelli’s closest rival.

What’s more interesting are the words that accompany the teaser – The legend is back. This small statement is somewhat related to its previous motorcycle. We are expecting this teased bike to be a concept, which will be unveiled at the 2015 EICMA, Italy. 

DSK Motowheels is selling the Benelli range of motorcycles in India. Unlike its Hyosung range, the Benelli bikes attracted a lot of consumers and that reflects in their sales numbers. The company currently is in the process of opening showrooms in Tier2  cities.
