DSK Motowheels has launched the Benelli TNT 1130 at Rs 11.81 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Indian market. The flagship motorcycle is the most expensive Benelli one can buy in India.
The Benelli TNT 1130 is built around a tubular steel trellis bolstered with strong aluminium plates in the pivot of the swingarm. It is powered by an inline triple cylinder engine which produces 155.5bhp and 120Nm of torque. This mill is mated to a six-speed transmission with dry clutch, anti-skipping device and hydraulic control. A balancing countershaft takes care of damping the vibrations.
Design wise, the TNT 1130 is not the most beautiful looking motorcycle in the segment but has a very good road presence. With a chiselled body, aggressive styling and a capable chassis, the TNT 1130 perfectly embodies the spirit of hooligan naked motorcycles. It might not suit everyone's tastes, but it does stand out in the crowd and is sure to make heads turn.
The Benelli TNT 1130 is available in the 2015 paint scheme, which was showcased at the 2015 India Bike Week. At this price point, it competes with the Kawasaki Z1000, but unlike the Japanese, this motorcycle is sold in India through the completely-knocked-down (CKD) route.
