Benelli India has resumed its India operations and now has started taking bookings for the TNT 300, 302R and the 600i. The sales for these bikes were stopped after Benelli parted ways with DSK Motowheels.
The Italian maker has joined hands with a Mahavir Group company, Adishwar Auto Ride India to sell its bikes in India. As per the company, the production and dispatch of the TNT 300, 302R and the TNT 600i starts in the first week of December 2018, followed by deliveries beginning 2nd week onwards, in a phased manner.
The prices of all three bikes have been increased marginally. The TNT 300 is now priced at Rs 3.5 lakhs and its supersport cousin, the 302R costs Rs 3.7 lakhs. The TNT 600i now retails at Rs 6.20 lakhs. The prices are introductory and PAN India.
The Italian maker has also come out with five-year warranty as standard. Till now, the company was offering a four-year warranty scheme. The company plans to add 25 dealers by March 2019 to take its total showroom count to 40.
