Just yesterday DSK Benelli launched their most affordable motorcycle yet – the TNT 25 at Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). And now, the company is shifting its focus to the TNT 600i and the TNT 600GT.
The company will launch the ABS version of TNT 600i and the TNT 600GT sometime next year. The company told BikeWale that the ABS units have already been developed and is almost ready. Currently, it’s in the final round of testing and won’t take much time before it is production ready. The work for this ABS system is being done at Benelli, Italy. For now, only the 600s will get this new ABS system.
Both the bikes have seen good response by the Indian consumers. However, the lack of ABS on these bikes was always seen as a negative. However, at the time of the launch last year, the company assured that ABS will make its way to the Indian market as soon as the system is ready. Equipping the bikes with ABS will increase the cost of the bikes. But knowing DSK Benelli, we can expect an increase of around Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more information on Benelli bikes.
