- Benelli to introduce the TNT 600i in the Philippines
- Slightly different than the India-spec model
- Sports a 600cc, inline-four motor
The Benelli TNT 600i is set to make its debut in the Philippines sometime soon. It will be priced at an equivalent of Rs 6.69 lakh in the South East Asian country.
This TNT 600i is slightly different from the one sold in India. For starters, it comes with a slimmer headlamp similar to the one on the TNT 300. Furthermore, the Philippines-spec model is also fitted with a TFT instrument cluster; a stark contrast to the semi-digital unit on the India-spec model. Nevertheless, the rest of the motorcycle remains identical.
It is powered by a 600cc, inline-four-cylinder motor that churns out 85.7bhp and 54.6Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Suspension and braking hardware too, is similar to the Indian-spec model with inverted forks upfront, an off-set monoshock at the rear and twin disc brakes at the front with ABS.
While Benelli does not have a BS6 compliant TNT 600i in India as of now, we can expect the company to launch the motorcycle soon. However, it is unlikely to sport the same headlamp setup as the Philippines model.
