- Current network stands at 12 operational dealerships
- Ten dealerships to be introduced by end of April
In order to resurrect its presence back in the Indian two-wheeler market, Benelli has plans to introduce 40 new dealerships across 35 cities by the end of 2019. The Italian bike maker tied up with Hyderabad-based Mahavir Group last year, after facing operational issues with it's previous partner, DSK Group.
Currently, Benelli has 12 operational outlets that are mostly located in the southern region of India. Out of the 40 new dealerships, the first 10 outlets are said to be operational to by April.
Beside that, the company also working on launching five new motorcycles this year to further expand its portfolio in India. Benelli's current product range consists of the TNT 600i, TNT 300 and its faired cousin 302R and the recently launched TRK 502 and 502X models.
