- Teased on social media handles ahead of Indian launch
- To be launched on 6 December, 2021
- Will rival the KTM 250 Adventure, Hero XPulse 200 4V
Benelli India has confirmed via its social media channels that the TRK 251 adventure tourer will be launched in our market on 6 December, 2021. The company has released a teaser video of its quarter-litre adventure tourer ahead of its Indian launch. This new motorcycle from the two-wheeler manufacturer will rival the likes of Hero XPulse 200, Royal Enfield Himalayan, and the KTM 250 Adventure.
The new Benelli TRK 251 will draw styling cues from its bigger sibling, the TRK 502. Thus, the quarter-litre adventure tourer will feature a twin-pod headlight, a digital instrument cluster, a semi-fairing, a tall windscreen, and a step-up seat. The hardware on the TRK 251 will comprise upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle the shock absorption tasks. The braking department will include single, petal-type discs on both wheels.
The mechanical specifications on the international-spec model comprise a 249cc, single-cylinder motor that makes 25.8bhp of power and 21.2Nm of peak torque. We expect the Indian-spec model to carry similar figures.
