- New Benelli TRK 251 launched at Rs 2.51 lakh
- Gets three colour options
- Powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder motor
Benelli’s latest offering in India- the TRK 251 has been priced at Rs 2.51 lakh. And the manufacturer is offering the adventure-touring motorcycle in a choice of three colour options.
There is the Glossy White paint scheme that comes with red graphics on the tank extension. You could also opt for TRK 251 in the Glossy Black or Glossy Grey colour options that have white and red graphics. All three colours get grey alloy wheels. Now, in terms of styling, the Benelli TRK 251 draws heavily from the TRK 502 like the nose-like fender with split headlamps and muscular fuel tank. It also features a tall windscreen and large and comfy-looking seats. Moreover, the brand is also expected to offer the tail rack and crash guard as optional accessories.
The TRK 251 is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 25.4bhp of power at 9,250rpm and 21.1Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. It rides on 17-inch wheels with upside-down forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. As for its feature list, the TRK 251 offers full-LED lighting, LCD instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS as well as a large 18-litre fuel tank to complement its touring character.
That said, the Indian market seems to be booming with ADVs and the Benelli TRK 251 competes against a handful of them like the KTM 250 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Hero Xpulse 200 as well as the BMW G310 GS.
