Benelli India has commenced the pre-bookings for the TRK 251. The new TRK 251 will be the entry-level adventure tourer in the company’s India portfolio. Interested buyers can reserve a unit of the new TRK 251 via the company’s website for a token amount of Rs 6,000. The deliveries of the new TRK 251, as confirmed by Benelli India, will start from January 2022.
Speaking about the new TRK 251, Vikas Jhabakh, MD, Benelli India, said that this motorcycle marks the beginning of a new phase for the brand as the company ventures into a new segment of affordable and high-performance adventure tourers.
The new Benelli TRK 251 will be available in three colours – Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Grey. The mechanical specifications include a 250cc, single-cylinder engine while the feature list comprises a twin-pod headlight, an 18-litre fuel tank, digital instrument cluster, and a tall windscreen. The motorcycle uses upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking department includes single discs on both ends while the safety net is handled by ABS.
The new TRK 251 will rival the likes of KTM 250 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan, and the Hero XPulse 200 4V in the Indian market.
