- Price increased by Rs 16,000
- TRK 502 retails at Rs 5.11 lakh; 502X at Rs 5.55 lakh
- No changes to mechanicals
Benelli has hiked the prices of the TRK 502 and TRK 502X in India. The motorcycles are now dearer by Rs 16,000 each. The TRK 502 was priced at Rs 4.94 lakh, before the revision. It now retails at Rs 5.11 lakh. On the other hand, the TRK 502X was priced at Rs 5.39 lakh, but will cost you Rs 5.55 lakh now (both prices in ex-showroom, Delhi).
However, the hike in prices has not resulted in any changes to the adventure-touring motorcycles. While we would have liked a bit of weight reduction, Benelli has kept everything unaltered. So both TRKs come powered by a 500cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that delivers 46.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. Even the list of features offered is more or less the same and includes a semi-digital cluster, tall windscreen and knuckle guards.
However, the TRK 502X sits on a pedestal with its off-road abilities that are aided by the high-set exhaust and wire-spoke wheels. The TRK 502, meanwhile, caters to a more road-focused consumer with its road tyres and alloy wheels. With that said, even Benelli’s smallest ADV- the TRK 251 has received a hike in price along with the Imperiale 400 and 502C.
