- BS6-compliant Benelli TRK 502 India launch tomorrow, 29 January
- Likely to get new features
- Power output to remain the same
Benelli is scheduled to launch the TRK 502 in India tomorrow, 29 January. It will be the brand’s second BS6-compliant motorcycle in the country besides the Imperiale 400.
While no official details are available currently, spy images revealed that the Benelli TRK 502 BS6 is likely to get some new features. To begin with, it is expected to get aluminum-frame knuckle guards, larger mirrors, and new handlebar grips. Moreover, the adventure-touring motorcycle also comes with backlit switches and a revised instrument cluster that now features an orange LCD with a white backlit tachometer that is analogue.
Furthermore, the 500cc, parallel-twin engine has been tweaked to be compliant to BS6 emission norms and is likely to have different performance figures as compared to the BS4 version’s 46.8bhp and 46Nm. However, apart from these changes the Benelli TRK 502 is expected to remain the same. We can expect it to cost a considerable premium over the BS4 model which was offered at Rs 5.10 lakh, ex-showroom.
