The Benelli TRK 502 X has received the BS6 upgrade and the middleweight adventure tourer has arrived in the Indian market to rival against the likes of the Honda CB500X, Kawasaki Versys 650, and the Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT. The Chinese-owned Italian brand has introduced the TRK 502 X at a competitive price tag (introductory) of Rs 5,19,900. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the Benelli TRK 502 X BS6.
The styling on the TRK 502 X BS6 remains identical to its predecessor. Thus, the TRK 502 X BS6 continues to pack a twin-pod headlight, a semi-fairing design, a tall-windscreen, knuckle guards with aluminium brackets, and a split-seat setup.
The changes to the BS6 model include an updated instrument cluster with a revised layout, backlit switchgear, adjustable handlebar, and redesigned mirrors.
Unlike its road-biased version, the TRK 502, the X badged model rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. The TRK 502, on the other hand, uses 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends.
The TRK 502 X will be available in three colours – Metallic Dark Grey, Pure White, and Benelli Red. The Metallic Dark Grey colour has been launched at Rs 5,19,900 while the Pure White and Benelli Red paint options are available for Rs 5,29,900.
The mechanical specifications continue to pack a 500cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 46.8bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed transmission.
The hardware on the TRK 502 X includes a steel trellis frame, upside-down front forks, a rebound and preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, 320mm twin discs at the front, and a single 260mm rotor at the back. The safety net is provided by a dual-channel ABS.
