Benelli has unveiled a new mini bike, christened as the TNT 125. Riding on 12-inch wheels, the TNT 125 is sold in select international markets like the UK, Australia and the Czech Republic.
The TNT 125 looks like a scaled down version of the TNT 25. The edgy headlamp, exposed frame and the twin exhaust pipes give it the aggressive look of a streetfighter. It might look tiny, but the TNT 125 is loaded with technology to the brim. Like most bikes in the Benelli range, the TNT 125 is built around a steel trestle frame. The engine is a 125cc four-valve unit with fuel-injection and oil-cooling. It delivers 11bhp and 10Nm of torque, and is mated to a five-speed transmission. It rides on 35mm adjustable inverted front forks and a rear monoshock. Both the 12-inch alloy wheels feature disc brakes with linked braking system. It tips the scales at 124 kilograms.
The TNT 25 retails at GBP 2,199 (Rs 1.81 lakhs) in the UK. The Italian manufacturer was planning to launch the bigger TNT 135 in the Indian market this year but those plans seem to have been put on hold for now.
