- Production-ready Benelli 752S revealed
- Looks exactly like the concept bike
- Likely to be showcased at 2018 EICMA
Benelli has finally pulled the wraps off its most awaited bike, the 752S. This bike first made its public appearance at 2017 EICMA, but now the final production-ready model has been revealed in a press conference.
From the look of it, Benelli has kept the design lines of the production version close to the concept model. The bike doesn’t shout aggressive as it doesn’t have any sharp lines and creases. But it does beg for attention. The bike is built around tubular trellis frame.
The 752S is powered by a brand new 750cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that develops 77bhp ad 8500rpm and peak torque of 67Nm at 6500rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The suspension duties are taken care of by 50mm Marzocchi USD forks with 117mm travel at the front and a monoshock with 45mm travel at the rear. This Benelli is equipped with double 320mm semi-floating front disc with four-piston caliper and 260mm disc at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels. The bike tips the scale at 228kg, and has a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 litres.
The Italian maker is likely to unveil this bike next week at the 2018 EICMA show in Italy. Will this bike come to India? Definitely! There’s a big market for such bikes, and we are sure Benelli wants to have a big share of this segment.
